Montreal Road Trip: Sat 1 Mar 2003!

Updated 20 Feb 2003 12:19 by Dave Tran
Last year's opening night in Montreal

Juergen leading the Kingston crew at last year's opening night in Montréal

We're heading to Montreal for a wild night of dancing, Saturday 1 March! Cat's Corner is hosting their opening night dance and has invited us to come on up and check it out!

Please email Krystal to sign up for the road trip from Kingston to Montréal. The more, the merrier; if we sign up enough people, we'll drive a bus!

Schedule

~5:00pm Leave Kingston
8:00pm Arrive in Montréal (eat something!)
9:00pm Beginner's Lesson at the studio
10:00pm Dance
~2:00am Sleep in Montréal
10:00am Eat breakfast
~3:00pm Back in Kingston, cry

Details

Both the beginner's lesson at 9pm and the dance at 10pm are free of charge but I'm sure they'll appreciate it if you purchase a Gatorade or juice from the bar. This is an all-ages event.

Also, please bring a pair of clean, non-marking shoes! You will see why when you arrive: They have undoubtedly one of the most beautiful dance floors in the whole of Montréal; a red old oak hardwood strip floor. Absolutely a pleasure to dance on.

Directions

The brand new, huge studio is located at 486 St. Catherine Street West, suite 302 (3rd floor). It is a 2 minute walk east from the McGill metro station, in the heart of dowtown. We are right beside the t-shirt store "the Labyrinthe", between Aylmer and City Counsellors.
