Dancing: a great way to stay active - Queen's Journal

Updated 13 Oct 2003 16:59 by Dave Tran

We got mentioned in a nice 3/4-page story in the 30 Sep edition of the Queen's Journal. Yeah!

Photo: Cara and Dave

Excerpts:

Dancing has always been a great way to stay active. A quick glance at anyone who dances regularly will tell you that much.

It's the social atmosphere of the group that really attracts members, however. Almost 150 members join the Swing Club every year, with up to 50 others who regularly attend events.

Whether it's the upbeat music, the enthusiasm of the club members or a love of 50-year-old dance moves, swing is best summarized simply by having fun.
